What's your take on the use of Idle Words?

Done thinking🤔? Let's get the party started then. Ok, from my little knowledge, concrete analysis and careful observations, many think it is macho or liberating to use vulgar humor, dirty jokes, and foul language, but this kind of talk has no place in the life of a Christian🙏🏿.

 You wouldn't have to "tink-far" till you realize that it is  so difficult to help a brother out rather than to release the "F" word or use the popular "K" word on your fellow brother or sister.☹

I'm going to be very plain today, so that you don't get me wrong. When I say the F word I mean "F**K" and when I say the "K" word I mean "KWASIA" or should I say "SIA". (*No Offense)

Some of us are thinking that it's normal or second nature for us to release these words like a Bazooka💣 releases missiles into the enemies' camp. But let me prove to you otherwise.

Let no CORRUPT WORD proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary EDIFICATION, that it may impart GRACE to the HEARERS.
Ephesians 4:29 NKJV

The key word here is "CORRUPT", "IDLE", "FOUL" other versions say "UNWHOLESOME", "CARELESS" or "EMPTY".

Ok what does JESUS have to say about this:

But I say to you that for every idle word MEN may speak, they will give ACCOUNT of it in the day of judgment.  For by your WORDS you will be JUSTIFIED, and by your words you will be CONDEMNED.”
Matthew 12:36-37 NKJV

And let me make some emphasis on the reckless and wrong usage of the word FOOL. This is what Jesus has to say about it

But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You FOOL!’ shall be in danger of hell fire.
Matthew 5:22 NKJV

Illustration Time😊 : Quite unfortunate, but the most difficult thing to do in our world today is to LOVE and the easiest thing we can do is to HATE.  So it's actually easier to wake up on a cozy Saturday morning and say "KWASIA (FOOL)"  to your roomate than to make a cup of tea or buy TWO Ghana Cedis worth of "Gob3"(Beans & Plantain) for him/her😏. And remember the whole Chapter 1 Corinthians 13 which talks about selfless love❤. God help us to love.

Love is hardwork, but with God's grace we can love like Jesus. That's Jesus' dope, crazy, stupendous, astounding love towards you and I. That Agape love that made Him descend from glory to die Just for YOU. If I were you I'll ask God for that kind of love. His Excellency Mr. Holy Spirit, kindly do your job and teach us how to love like Jesus💯.
